International Mining Games

The Mining Games were created in 1978 by the American Mining Schools, in honour and remembrance of the fallen miners from the Sunshine Mine (worst hard rock mining accident in the US) and dedicated to all miners who have perished in the line of duty.
Since 2006 that CSM has an unofficial team - Team GB - playing in the Mining Games. The reason CSM does not sponsor itself a team is on the one hand it won't take responsability if something happens abroad and because - in theory - Team GB has mining students from all over the UK (bollocks).
